Born: 1955

Education/Training: Diploma in Fine Arts with a painting focus from the Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata.
Postgraduate degree from the Viswa Bharati University at Santiniketan.

Exhibitions: Das has exhibited his works extensively in India, Japan, France, Norway, the United Kingdom and Thailand.

About:

Swapan has won a National Scholarship from the Ministry of Human Resource Development to pursue his interest in graphic art at the Lalit Kala Academy in New Delhi, and following that has received several honours for his contribution to the genre of graphics from many different state-level, national and international organizations. The governments of Norway and Taiwan have also recognized Swapan’s artistic talent and have honoured him with prestigious awards.
