Exhibitions: He has participated in several regional, national and international exhibitions.

About:

Soumitra has participated in All India Annual Exhibitions held in the year 1989, ’93, ’94, 2002 and 2003. In 2000 a group show called ‘Tradition & Modernity in Bengal’ displayed his works in Bangalore and Mumbai. The 10th Harmony Show at World Trade Centre Mumbai, also displayed his work. He had been a recipient of Annual Award 2003 from Academy of Fine Art, and Annual Award 2004 from Birla Academy of Arts & Culture, Kolkata.
