About:

At a very young age Dwijen chanced upon a film poster “DEVIL” of the legendary film-maker Satyajit Ray and expressed an idea which the great director marveled at and predicted his future as an artist. Later, in the Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata, Dwijen achieved a brilliant academic record topping in all. In advertising, Dwijen created award winning designs and three-dimensional works for private and public sector clients. Fascinated with human beings and probing different status of human life especially of woman, Dwijen’s canvases have made several journeys with incisive expressions. The figurative compositions elaborated in water colours expresses the unheeded, unspoken and unsung.
