About:

Ashis’s search for style, with and away from his twin brother, made his search much deeper in his feelings and makes him think constantly. Human faces and figures have always interested him. These also become sculptural busts in his new works, expressing the tabletop quality of a still life. Elongating the necks and inverting one at the heads, he has also experimented with a yin-yang of the human torso.
