About:

Anasuya is serene and tranquil. Her searches are extended towards contemplative beauty, meditative in nature. Within that serenity a subtle melancholy reverberates. A sense of lostness lingers. The melancholy strives for the light, the existence lacks. Her works are intuitive and contemplative. She uses that intuitiveness as a rebellion against the violence tormenting the world outside. She says, “in this troubled times of ours, with violence and destruction as part of the daily experience all over the world, the Buddha offers me a heaven of peace.” Her pictorial project is to negate that violence.
