Q1. How do I purchase art on Sensitivité?

Ans: Once you know the art work you would like to purchase, get in touch with us so that we can physically (or through Skype) show you the product. We will then give you simple instructions to follow to ensure that buying art through our website is both easy and secure.

Q2. Will my information be kept private?

Ans: We at Sensitivité strongly believe in the security of your privacy. Your information will be kept completely confidential with us. Any information you provide is never shared with any individual or third party unless you explicitly inform us to do so.

Q3. Are the prices reasonable?

Ans: We continue to work at keeping the prices as transparent and fair as possible by being in direct contact with the artist, local and national galleries, attending exhibitions, and meeting with art critics and professionals. Our goal is to provide you with a benchmark for each artist’s value. Even if you don’t buy an art work from our site, please check our prices before you shop elsewhere.

Q4. How do I know that the art works are genuine?

Ans: At Sensitivité, we provide an assurance that each piece of art we offer for sale on the site is a genuine work of the artist listed. We guarantee that the art work complies with the reference to the name of the artist, title, date, and dimensions as listed on our website.

If within one year from the sale of the art work it is proved by the buyer to the reasonable satisfaction of Sensitivité that the item was not authentic, and if in Sensitivité’s opinion, this would have significantly impacted the price a buyer would have been willing to pay for the item, Sensitivité shall rescind the sale and refund the amount to the buyer once the buyer returns the art work to Sensitivité.

This guarantee will be subject to the claim being made by the original buyer from our website, the art work being returned in the same condition that it was in at the time of delivery, and the work being indisputably purchased through Sensitivité.

Q5. Will I have to pay anything extra on the listed price?

Ans: If the shipping address is within India, there will be no extra charge for shipping and handling. For all shipments outside India, the price of the art work does not include duties, taxes, shipping and handling, which will be charged as applicable.

Q6. How long will delivery take once I buy a painting online?

Ans: The art work will be delivered/shipped to the buyer once all necessary documentation relating to transportation, tax, etc. as may be reasonably requested for by Sensitivité are completed and payment has been realized in full, including any applicable additional charges. The buyer may also choose to collect the painting himself from Sensitivité. This must be done within 2 weeks of Sensitivité receiving payment. In the event the art work is not collected within 2 weeks, storage and insurance costs will be applicable on the purchase and will be determined at the complete discretion of Sensitivité.

Q7. How can I buy art without looking at it in person?

Ans: The images and related details provided by Sensitivité are reviewed to ensure that their presentation on the website reflects the actual artwork as closely as possible. You may send any questions that you might have to us before making your purchase decision.

Q8. How do I find art works I’m looking for?

Ans: If you know exactly what you’re looking for, we suggest you try our Search tool or go to the Artists page and choose the artist you like. If you do not find what you are looking for, feel free to contact us and we will do our best to help you. We can also provide you with online advice, whether it is a question on the art, its display, the framing or any other doubts you may have.
